OK, this place gets packed so you have to choose the time you go carefully and I’m so excited to check out the happy hour one day but I’ve only been for lunch with my coworkers since my office is nearby and it’s one of our favorite go to places! The sandwiches are amazing. The chicken kebab is so good and so are all the pastries and the bread is amazing as well.! A little pricey, but definitely worth it. And their sides are all bangers! My favorite is the potato salad
The team ran like a well-oiled machine. It was very busy when we arrived, but the waiting wasn’t too bad. The staff was composed and friendly. It was warm inside so we found a shaded table on the expansive outdoor seating area. The turkey sandwich had a generous portion of meat and it combined well with the slaw and rye bread. The carrots were delicious. I didn’t think they needed the sauce, but it was a nice addition.
Wow. This pastrami sandwich is up there in top 2-3 I’ve ever had. The aged pastrami is definitely worth the long wait in line at this uber busy deli near the Denver Art Museum. Perfect lunch before heading into the museum. Lots of comfortable seating. Staff is pleasant despite the chaos of the never ending lunch line.
We finally made it! We tried to stop here while visiting Denver last summer, but the line to get in was super long and we just didn’t have the time to wait. But this time!!! We waited and it was well worth the wait! We ordered the pastrami Reuben with curry potato salad and the turkey club with pasta salad. We were near speechless while we ate our food. Lots of humming because it was that good!!! Our sandwiches were huge and we each took home half. The sides were delicious and well flavored. The Pickles!!!!! Phenomenal! We were blown away with our meals! We will for sure incorporate plenty of wait time into our next Denver trip for this amazing food! We ate inside this time and loved the plants and decor. There are also plenty of tables outside as well. Friendly staff and great service. Highly recommend!
Have you had the salmon though?! Hell yeah Leven you did that!! I know they're known for the pastrami buy what they do with salmon is truly delicious. The catering staff at our annual event were delightful and i couldn't have asked for a better experience to have me hesitate to come in and not actually order pastrami. Thanks for broadening my horizons
the gentleman with the hat and glasses who greeted us was so delightful. i appreciated his welcome and explaining to us how to order. the chicken shawarma was delicious and the brownie is possibly the best i’ve ever had, and i LOVE brownies. i do think the prices were a little high given the quantity of food, if it was more affordable i would come all the time, but certainly worth it for a lovely lunch. they also had great gluten free options
Stopped in on a whim while walking downtown(ish) because there was firefighters having breakfast on their patio, and if anyone knows a good place to eat it's a public servant. I ordered a few things to try and spent close to $60 with tip. Though it felt pricy initially, the value for money is definitely there. Got the Avocado toast, which was honestly more Avocado bread. I wish it was more toasted. There is a generous amount of Avocado along with the toppings of pickled onions and grape tomatoes. So much so that most fell off. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich with pastrami, and this sandwich is absolutely fantastic. I would pay double what they asked for this sandwich. I could eat it for breakfast or lunch and be absolutely satisfied. Coffee was okay, wish it was served hotter but it tasted good. Also ordered the brownie for later, because I'm stuffed but can't resist a brownie. This one is a brick! It's so dense and heavy it could easily be mistaken for fudge. Trust a fat man, this is a must stop location if you're in the area. Also, their patio is very dog friendly.
